Since its foundation in 1960, Dentetsu Shoji has undertaken the sale of machinery, materials and plants for construction projects, mines, railways and plants throughout Japan. To date, the Company has steadily continued to expand its business and has been favored by many customers with their support and patronage.
Upholding the catchphrase "High efficiency with 1/2 the budget," Dentetsu Shoji has been delivering used machinery and equipment that have maximum efficiency while accommodating minimum budget, especially rails and turnouts for excavation of railway and road tunnels, drainage and water conveyance tunnels at dam construction sites, and in shield construction works such as subway construction.
Dentetsu Shoji annually handles 30,000 tons of rails for railway construction, works and mines, supplying new and used rails.
Especially in the area of works turnouts, Dentetsu Shoji has rich experience in buying and selling new and used turnouts, as well as in manufacturing special turnouts. These activities have been evaluated favorably by the customers as meeting their requirements. Dentetsu Shoji will continue to meet customer needs. When railway lines are decommissioned, Dentetsu Shoji purchases railway tracks as they are installed. Dentetsu Shoji's results show its ability to demolish and remove tracks without a single accident whether the track is in remote mountainous areas or shunting tracks in densely populated cities.
Dentetsu Shoji supplies the demand for used materials and has steadily expanded its supply records for wide flange beams, sheet piles, covering plates, steel pipe piles, steel pipe sheet piles, scaffolding plates, scaffolding pipes, ductile pipes and other materials as materials for civil engineering and construction works.
Additionally, since 1987, Dentetsu Shoji has been selling steel frames and their sales are increasing year after year as shown by its sales records.
Recently, fully utilizing its worldwide information network and organizations, Dentetsu Shoji has been able to consummate larger sales in the import of overseas products and in tripartite trade by delivering products to overseas works projects of Japanese general contractors and plant engineering companies.
